Our award-winning tour

Since the doors of the SAB World of Beer opened over a decade ago, the walking tour has been developed and perfected to give visitors a seamless glimpse into the history and culture of beer. You'll discover how the ancient Mesopotamians brewed their thick, sweet beer, how different recipes spread to countries in Europe, and how brewmasters from around the world defined some of the beers you know and love today.

You'll also learn about beer's fascinating history in South Africa, and get a glimpse of the timeless brewing processes used by SAB in creating some of its world-famous brands. Price: R35 (which includes two complementary beers after the tour)

The SAB World of Beer offers world-class conferencing facilities to suit every need and budget, while offering an encounter with the magic and mystique of beer culture as never experienced before. This five-star meeting venue (as graded by the Tourism Grading Council) offers three meeting rooms, all offering cuisine to suit a variety of palates.
