At the SAB World of Beer, all that’s pretty standard.
Unlike other world-class venues, we also give you the big beer experience.
Indeed, make the excitement and the experience – and a beer tasting - part of your conference, function, celebration or team building.
We’re open from Monday to Saturday for conferences, but tours for conference groups are available from Tuesday to Saturdays.

Day conference package (Valid until March 31, 2010).

DAY CONFERENCE PACKAGE

(01st April 2010 to 31 March 2011)

R325.00 (vat included) per person, per day (minimum 10 people) and includes the following:

  • Secure covered parking
  • Venue hire
  • Standard Equipment: PC projector, white board, flip chart, DVD, CD player, TV, VCR, microphone and podium
  • Tea, coffee, rusks and a complimentary yoghurt on arrival
  • Mid-morning tea, coffee with biscuits
  • Afternoon tea and coffee
  • Buffet style lunch
  • Tour of the World of Beer and two complimentary beers or cold drinks for any delegate wishing to remain after the conference (shortened tour available on request). Please note that tours only run from Tuesday to Saturday for conference groups.
The World of Beer is open from Monday to Saturday for conferences & functions from 07h00 to 18h00

HALF-DAY CONFERENCE PACKAGE

(01st April 2010 to 31 March 2011)

R275.00 (vat included) per person, per day (minimum 10 people) from morning till 12:00 or from 12:00 till 18:00 and includes the following:

  • Secure covered parking
  • Venue hire
  • Standard Equipment: PC projector, white board, flip chart, DVD, CD player, TV, VCR, microphone and podium
  • Tea, coffee, rusks and a complimentary yoghurt on arrival
  • Mid-morning or mid-afternoon tea, coffee
  • Buffet style lunch
  • Tour of the World of Beer and two complimentary beers or cold drinks for any delegate wishing to remain after the conference (shortened tour available on request). Please note that tours only run from Tuesday to Saturday for conference groups.

DISCOVER THE WORLD OF BEER TOUR

This exciting tour takes you through 6000 years of magical brewing history from ancient Mesopotamia through Africa and Europe to its place in modern society. Sample the unique African Sorghum Beer and be intrigued by an old Johannesburg mining camp, a turn of the century pub and traditional Soweto Shebeen. Learn about the brewing processes and finally, quench your thirst in our vibey pub, The Tap Room, with two complimentary beers of your choice.

Secure parking available at no additional cost.

BOOKINGS

Reservations may be made from Monday to Friday between 08h30 and 16h30 on 011-836 4900 ext. 106.  Reservations on Saturdays for group bookings may be made on the same number, ext. 115.

A Commission of 15% of the conference package is payable to SAACI registered booking agents with a bank account in the company’s name.
